Cost a couple of pennies. Here it is:

That's a four-inch nail, padded with a bit of heat-shrink tubing.

Having filled the log shed/overflow bike shed up with logs, there wasn't now room to store one of the bikes.

So I fitted the bike rack:

Which allows the bike to fit in the shed, safely out of the worst of the weather, without impeding access to the logs. Or at least, not to most of them.

If only I could reproduce it...

The logs are for burning. That's how we heat the house: log burning stove linked to the central heating. Four pickup loads fill the shed and keep us going all winter. There's no mains gas here, it's a lot cheaper than oil or electric, and it's carbon-neutral.

And you can toast crumpets on the stove.

...you'd need a range of colours as well...pink for the girlies etc. You'd ned to vacuum pack a set of 10 and include the specially weighted hammer tool to fit them.
In fact you could expand your new 'ard as nails range for cyclists to include wood scented after shave and advertise it on telly as...

" 'ard as nails, giving cyclists wood"

....just think of all the other areas this would help with as well...you could market green ones at garden hose enthusiasts (with an orange set for those annoying sprinkle hoses)...the market segmentation prospects are endless...

...amazing ...you're gonna be rich, and like all the best ideas it was concieved in the garden shed

Hey, I like that shed. Did you build it yourself?

Erm, yes.

Out of wood. If you really want architectural details, pm me, because I'm sure no-one else does!
