Verenti Millook or 2012 Caad8 or Dolan Titanium ADX?

Hi All,

Yet another bike comparison...

I want a bike for general commuting duties but I am also entered in a sportive later on this year, and want to do some more.


Am I better off getting a good general steel commuter (Planet x, Dawes etc) and then an aluminium bike like the Verenti or Caad8 for the sportives, or would it be better getting the Dolan Titanium ADX for both instead?

IMO Steel bikes should be the most comfortable but may not be the lightest. I think its good however to have a heavier bike to make the lighter ones feel extra special so I think the two bikes option is a good one. However, given the robustness of Ti, I'd be tempted there too
