VELOGAMES FANTASY CLASSICS NOW OPEN FOR OMLOOP HET NIEUWSBLAD!
DEADLINE FOR TRAINING CAMP ONE IS 11:00 CET ON SATURDAY!
The new Velogames season gets underway this Saturday with a brand new
Fantasy Classics Spring Series, covering the major monouments of the early
cycling season.
The main Fantasy Classics Spring Series starts in late March with
Milano-Sanremo, but before this time there are two one-off "training camp"
races featuring the Flanders opener of Omloop Het Nieusblad and also the
race across the white roads of Tuscany in Montepaschi Strade Bianche.
There has been a large amount of work done to the site during the
offseason, including a much-improved team roster screen ant the ability to
handle a large entry list efficiently, as this was becoming a major issue
to manage during last season's Fantasy Tour de France.
The two training camps will test the new features and introduce you to the
new tactical dimensions of the Spring Classics game, including team change
intervals and the ability to nominate a Captain and Lieutenant for each
event, who will score bonus points for your team in each race.
First on the agenda is Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, where defending champion
Juan Antonio Flecha attempts to defend his title against a host of Belgian
challengers that include Philippe Gilbert, Tom Boonen and Stijn Devolder.
Make sure to head over to www.velogames.com to view the game rules and
select you select your squad of 12 stars before the deadline of 11:00 CET
on Saturday 26th February!
