Velodrome

Not sure if right area to ask this but does anyone know of a velodrome in the north east or scottish borders region ? have always wanted to try it and only know of the ones in manchester and london ??

Meadowbank velodrome in Edinburgh where Chris Hoy started off.
Caird Park in Dundee.
They're building one in Glasgow for the commonwealth games in 2014.
In England the nearest seems to be in South Shields and described as semi derelict.
A description not uncommon for velodromes. See my local for instance though they were
planning to build one in Beaumont Leys (saffron lane and beaumont leys both being places
you don't want to go to at night, must be the lower real estate prices) but seems there's
been no progress , likewise the one in Derby which is not surprising in this time of council
cuts.
