I changed my stock pads on the front my Spesh Sirrus to Clarks cartridge brakes with triple compound inserts and wow, I couldn't believe how bad stock brakes are. What bike are these for?

Try http://discobrakes.com/ I have used more expensive pads before but read on here about this website. I got 4 sets of the 1 piece blue V brake pads and they are superb. They were dirt cheap compared to others I have used and appear to be just as good. Free fast delivery too. I also got 4 sets of the triple inserts for my road bike but not have tried them yet.

First thing I'd say is it looks like you have your bar ends on backwards, they should really point straight/inwards rather than outwards.

Otherwise the stock answer for wet performance is Koolstop Salmon, but I like the Clarks three colour pads like these.

Most v-brake pads are 72mm length and so are your stock pads so don't worry about that
