I have a road bike with a carbon seat post (real carbon, not just decorative.) I have the residue of a sticker from a race number on it. Warm water and soap is not working, can I use white spirit, and if not what do you suggest?

Thanks

Pick with left, rub with right, the periodic lick or spit too, preferably before the item has ever been used, especially wheels, don't want to be licking brake block powder from the brake track by accident!

I have never tried the spit or lick approach. But then again.. my thumbs are pretty strong.
