User Albums

I have noticed that user albums do not show unless you are logged into the site itself was this a design feature of the site, if so im curious to know the reason why this was done as album content shows up in Google search engine results and can be viewed in this manner.
Not complaining just curious.

The Google album images are likely to be cached from the previous software - do you get an error when you click on them in Google Images? or do they link to a current album page on the site as it is now?

it links to the current album on the site as it is, if you search google.co.uk for 'carbon troupe s-works' it brings up the picture of my seat and the entire current album is viewable from this point.
This is by using the link provided by google rather than searching through google images

I've searched Google with that phrase and cannot find a link to CycleChat - either in the general link results or the images - so am not seeing a link through to the album on CC. Could you possibly right-click the link and Copy the URL and paste it in here for me please?

Thanks. I've looked into it and it appears to be a bug in the permissions system for the Album add-on. I'll report it to the author so they can fix it.

After testing I can (as a guest) view an image and album, but not the list of albums for a user - so the permission checking doesn't appear to extend down the branch to the individual images.

I'll update it once I get a new version from the add-on developer.

That's strange, it was the top of the list for me. Did you put quotes around it as the actual text in the thread is "s-works carbon troupe" rather than "carbon troupe s-works"
