Found it a little confusing jumping between the two guys BOTH in red jackets... but the start point.... that's where my kids slide down (and many students too) worn very smooth by years of bottoms sliding over it ... I can't imagine cycling down it!

What's in that river? It looks like wee wee. Even the Manchester Ship Canal isn't that bad.

Assuming you are talking about the steps (which lead down from the fountains on the centre), I think it's just the combination of the stone and the angle it was filmed at. What gets me is it looks as though it is flowing upward.... (as for what may be in it ... well it is close to the city centre bars etc.. so you could be right ).

To be fair, that was pretty irresponsible.

Pavement cycling, dangerous filtering, causing pedestrians to jump out of the way....

Its the kind of cycling we dont really need, but at least he stopped at the red light.
