Upload A File button problem

Hi Shaun - I am using Linux Mint Petra and and have just changed browser from Firefox to Chromium.

The Upload A File button now has a problem in that it works ok but the script is replaced by image which resembles part of a blurred digital image.

Is it the forum software or mine?

I think that's a browser issue at your end. The button is drawn with CSS and only uses an image file (PNG) to generate the graduated background effect. The same gradient file is used for the other buttons too, so perhaps it's related to flash (that button initiates a flash uploader). Do you have flash installed on that machine?

I have had a good play with Chromium and found no problems on any other sites (apart from the other Clickfinity forums which are the same).

it's no biggie.

I expect it's due to the embedding of the flash uploader. You can disable it, if it helps. Just click your username at the top right, then select preferences and untick - Use the Flash-based uploader to upload attachments - and save. Does that get rid of the problem?
