You'd need to change the hubs or complete wheels.

Tobe honest, it's easier to carry a 15mm spanner in your tools than changing the current wheels to QR. To do so you would need a new axle for each wheel, and would need to disassembe both hubs, switch the axles, replace all the ball bearings and reassemble the hubs again with the new axles in place.

My singlespeed has bolted axles and I don't find them a particular faff to get on and off

You do NOT have to change hubs - all that is required is to replace solid axle with hollow one - make sure it is the same thread. Of course the q/r axle will be shorter than the bolted one as you don't have the ends protruding to take bolts. Qr axle should be cut short enough that is doesn't protrude beyond the dropout. Easy if you have the know-how and tools such as cone spanners as you will have to dismantle the hub to do it. On rear you will need to remove freewheel or cassette. If not sue get your LBS to do it

just need to swap the axle. ideall the thread is the same so you can use the same cones or else have an axle with matcing cones.

don't be concerned that the hole in the axle makes it weaker - the steel for Q/R is much better than the cheap cheese steel for the solid axles.

If you get out an ride it a lot it will soon need new wheels, so just wait until then. In the mean time tape a spanner to one of the tubes or stick it in a saddle bag.
