Hi forum,
Please be gentle as this is my first post.

I am not very technically minded when it comes to bikes and was wondering if changing to DI2 from 105/tiagra mix is something that can be done?

I ride an Orbea Orca Bronze which I bought in May 2013 and was wondering if this bike can accept the upgrade.

I cannot think of a reason that it won't all work nicely, you might have to come up with somewhere to store the battery. I think you can put it inside the seattube or post though.

I misread that as "changing from Di2 to 105/Tiagra"
If your bike is the same as the ones on Google Images, then it should accept the upgrade fine, but the only thing to make sure you have before you go ahead is the little grommet for the front Derailleur cable to fit through on the down tube near the Bottom Bracket. It's normally near the hole for the front derailleur cable.
Assuming all Orbea frames are created equal, you should have it, as there's a Di2 version of your bike.
Also work out where you want to put your battery, as themosquitoking suggested.

Cheers guy's.

I have just decided to upgrade to Ultegra 6700 instead and have already bought a few things.

Heading out for 10 to collect gear levers and brakes so all I need now is the front and rear mechs. ;-)

Deano.
