upgrade advice

hi all , had a spesh allez base model for a while now and I am looking to upgrade happy with frame but would like to upgrade group set and wheels having never done this before I could use some help anyone done this and whats your results thanks all

Put Aksiums on mine, not the biggest upgrade but hey what a difference.

In the absence of any budget guidance, I'm going to suggest a set of Lightweight Obermayer wheels and a Dura Ace Di2 groupset...

Might be better buying a new model with a better group set/wheels (Some good deals out there)
Unless you purchased some good second hand parts ... RS 80 wheels (bomb proof)
second hand 105 group set

105 seems the most likely groupset, I don't think ultegra offers a lot more

Presume you already have carbon forks and seat post, if not, I'd add those for comfort

Plus something to tape over the word specialized

Yes, but you can request when they are back in and you will get the same price. IME normally within 2 weeks.

I had an Allez and slowly went through the process of upgrading it, my order of changes were as follows;
Pedals: Shimano 105
Wheels, Mavic Ksyrium Elite c. £400
Tyres: Conti 4000 GP S c. £55
Saddle: Spesh Romin Evo c. £80
Groupset: Shimano 105 c. £400
Mudguards: SKS Raceblades c. £35
Pedals: Look Keo Max 2
Handlebar: FSA Team c. £120
Saddle: Fizik Kurve Snake c. £110

Then I went up and upgraded the frame recently and it ceased being an Allez, well the frame and a few other bits too, well it's easier to list what was taken across to the new frame

It has become a dedicated winter / wet weather bikes and it equipped as such.

I am now left with a frame set that I want to find a good home for, the Mavic Ksyrium Elites and a few other bits.
