Unusual Bikes

I have seen videos of some of these before but not had a go on any, the recumbent hand trike is the one I have seen most of.

Does anyone on here ride a hand bike? or ridden one, I imagine its hard on the arms and shoulders.

One rides (stands!) from the southern fringes of Wakefield, to Headingley (Leeds) on his!!

My cousin who has cerebral palsy had a hand bike as a kid. I tried it and it was difficult (mind you I was about 8 at the time) but doable, it was just unusual for me because my legs were used to doing the pedalling. Wish they made a user-friendly, affordable one as he would love to bike again I'm sure.

There are some pretty cool designers in this world huh? Then the marketing people come along and screw it all up trying to sell this crap.

That does look like a nice one! Unfortunately over a grand in USD is not something we can consider easily affordable at this time
