I have been given a Bridgestone ladies bike that is fitted with Nakano Air hubs. The tyres are completely flat, however my pump doesn't fit...can anyone tell me what adapter I need to get to use a Schrader pump to inflate my tyres? Thanks

That looks like a woods valve.

Yep, not seen one in the flesh for 40 odd years  Peel off the rubber sleeve and there's a hole where the air goes in pushing the rubber aside. The rubber constricts when you stop pumping and keeps the air in the tyre

I've no experience of them, I've seen them but never used one.

Yup... looks something like Woods Dunlop valves.

Dutch bikes still use them. You can get new tubes from any of the dutch bike parts specialist on the web. The valve is smaller in diameter than a schrader but bigger than presta, so if you want to use schrader valved tubes on the wheels you’ll need to drill the rim out a bit.

On pulling back the rubber, it's completely sealed! I have tried using presta pump on the opposite end, and it leaks. That piece fits in the gap in the second photo and the 3rd photo is the hub end. I think I will have to resort to swapping out the tube and forgoing the air hub. I emailed Nakano Air hub for help but no reply. Can't find any videos either on how to inflate from flat.

:welcome: Way 'left field' @susans suggestion/question: have you tried fitting it up, putting the bike on a stand and rotating the wheel? It should pump the tube up to 42psi (the design limit).

Well that idea had crossed my mind and after chocking it up in the air and after several rotations and not a sausage wondered how long it would take from flat....I will give another go. Although after peeling back the rubber I tried twisting it to see if it unscrewed the other end and now damaged the rubber but I could try it with the other wheel.

Best of luck. The capacity (pump in hub) must be very small compared with the internal tyre volume so I'd be looking at hundreds of revolutions from grade.
