I've just found these on line but I don't know a lot about them, anyone come across these, are they any good?

Gaz545 of this forum used to ride a Univega. (Road bike though)
Nice bike it was too.
It got stolen from his garage a few weeks back

Yeah I used to have a road bike from them.
I believe they are owned by the company that now owns Raleigh.
Univega is based in germany, top quality bikes in my opinion and I had no issues with my carbon road bike over the 3 odd years that I had it.

Univega/Raleigh have long been part of the same trading group but I havent a clue who owns who these days. They made some very popular full sussers in 1990's and hardtails, I suspect that the "team issue" Raleighs that you see team GB riding are probably Univegas as well.
