Ultregra splined axle

i have acquired a nice pair of cranks and bottom bracket. Please can anyone suggest where I might get the hollow, 8 splined axle that I require.

Thanks Martin,I fear that is what i need. Pity the unit that i have lacks an axle.

You've probably been sent a hollowtech II BB for a Hollowtech 1 crankset. Quite different.

Agree with Fossy, an Octalink BB would contain an axle as part of it, to attach the cranks to at each side.
