Hello, just a clearance sale:

Ultegra 6701 chain and 6700 cassette - together or separate. Cassette has about 2000kms and has no problems running with a new chain. - £18 for cassette, £22 with chain.

6701 chain - £5 alone. You can force 0.75 in, but you have to try. Maybe 400-700kms left in it depending on use/how far you wanna take it.

Both have been cleaned almost weekly.

23mm Ultremo ZX about 1500kms on it - plenty of tread left. - £12 with postage.

Tiagra chainset 52/39 175mm for £25. Had some good use, but runs fine without problems.

Also have a 25mm Ultremo ZX (used as front) and a 25mm GP 4000s (used as rear). Both have done about 4000-5000kms but have plenty of tread left - £5 if you wanna take a chance.

Have a front R550 and rear R500 wheel. Former maybe has a max of 2000kms and latter about 7000-8000kms. Rim condition is very good on both, however the bearings will need to be re-greased as even though wheels spin okay bearings feel rough. This one is best for collection as postage will not be very practical, but can be arranged. £25 for both. Contact if you want them separate. Note: The front R550 has 16 spokes so may not be the best option for people over 80kg or so due to being a bit flexy.

All prices include P&P unless outside of UK/unusually big charges for you area. Feel free to ask for pictures.

EDIT:

Just remembered - have a black Charge Spoon saddle - very good condition. £10 with postage.

Also a Specialized BG Rival Road 143. Pretty well used, but only cosmetic damage. £7 with postage.

Regarding R500 rear wheel - upon taking pictures I discovered that the bearings have seized now. It was okay when I put it into the shed about a month ago though. I am now offering to replace the bearings myself and keep the cost the same if anyone is interested.

Oh damn - would be useful to mention. Around Newcastle up on Tyne - 200+ miles away from your location it seems.

I think it would be around £9 but will have to check. Sounds reasonable?

EDIT: Yes 700cc btw.

Is the price £5 for both, or per tire? And will you post? If so, how much?

Any chance of pics? Interested in these items.

Edit: Disregard my question about postage - Just noticed you answered that in the OP.

£5 for both as they have done some high mileage. I think the postage would be around £2 so you are really getting them for £3!

Will post pictures tomorrow as it's getting a bit late!

I'll be getting them as spares anyway, so the high mileage doesn't bother me. They should also (hopefully) give me a feel of whether I like the tires or not, so I know whether I want to buy a new set.

Keep them reserved for me, and we can sort out pictures and payments tomorrow - I can use PayPal.

Thanks very much!

NP.

FIY - I rode with ZXs as 25mm fornt and 23mm rear and now I have 25mm 4000s' and:

The ZXs feel more tactile and fine whereas the 4000s' are not as tactile but have a slightly floatier/duller feel. Both are pretty damn good tires, with ZXs being a bit more expensive. Durability-wise the 4000s is probably the better option as I ran that rear and ZX on front for a few 1000kms with only 2-3 punctures for ZX and a similar level for the 4000s but it was on the back.

Nope.. Are you sure you are not linking to a private album or something? You could always try uploading to Imgur - It needs no account, and is very simple to use.

Sorry, they seem a bit more worn than I was hoping. I don't mind them being a bit worn, but the cuts put me off. As you say, The GP4000s does seem to have fared better.

I would be interested in your 23mm ZX, but I want to buy in a pair really.

Thanks anyway, good luck with the rest of your sales.
