ok bought a replacement BB but it's smaller than my old one ( BB60 ) It came with a plastic adapter. My existing tool doesn't fit which is weird as the adapter is to allow fitting ! Stupid design changes anyway any recommendations on a good socket type ?

You can get an adaptor to fit your old tool - that's what I did.

I have two old style tools, one Icetoolz and one FWE. The plastic adapter you have fits in both. It is a bit tight in the FWE one but does fit in eventually.

It doesn't fit in my icetoolz one , thinking now I should of spent the extra and bought a proper park one!

And my newly purchased tool doesn't fit that :-( hence false economy buying cheap!
