I'm not sure who are the bigger nutters, the riders or the spectators sitting on the grass verge as the bikes fly past at over 100mph. Great racing though, very entertaining.

Anyone with some spare time on their hands could witness similar racing this week in the Manx GP - just like the TT but for amateur riders.

It's awesome but it can't be compared to F1, two completely different sports.

You are right, they can't be compared. This is racing - F1 is a procession.

You don't appreciate the sport, however millions of people thorough the world do. It's a thing called personal preference, and I'm thankful for it, because without it the world would be a dreadfully boring place.

I don't appreciate a sport where artificial constraints have had to be introduced to enforce pit stops to create interest and artificial competition. Give me the cut and thrust of lawn mower racing for a far more lively and interesting spectacle with shortened grass as the only predictable outcome.

The NW200 is similarly bonkers! I love it that such things can still happen. I wouldn't do it myself and think anyone that does is a few centimes short of a euro but have complete respect for it none-the-less. It takes guts (or stupidity, call it what you will!) and a ton of skill. As a spectator sport, it's breathtaking.
