Hi everyone, I'm contemplating a Ti bike after all the 'fun' I've had with my Trek. Has anyone on here had any experience of Colina built out of Yorkshire, or Sabbath?

I've looked around but can't find any reviews - maybe not surprising since they aren't exactly mass market.

thanks

I know a few Sabbath riders. Very good bikes. @redflightuk rides one, so does @saoirse50

My cycling mate has a Sabbath and he likes it. Never heard of Colina, but my guess is that they have their frames made in the far east. As does every other seller of Ti frames, except Burls who have theirs made in Russia, Lynskey in the states and Baldwin make theirs in the UK.
There are a number of us on here who ride a Ti bike and can recommend them as being a very smooth ride.

Yes it was a sabbath aspire.....was a stunning frame and a joy to ride. Only changed it because i wanted a Ti with disc brakes........any sabbath owner would not be dissappointed

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Enigma build custom fit Ti in the UK. I paid them a visit to their workshop when I bought mine.
Some and some. Mrs W's custom-fit Engima frame is being transported in a container for finishing in Sussex.

i like the look of enigma, but theyre a long way to travel from Chester. Sabbath have a local dealer but they havent replied to my messages, Colina have a nice looking sportive bike and Pete Collins the owner replied within a day, so I guess I'll go and actually have a look. thanks for the responses, though everyone

Have you phoned the Sabbath dealer, don't bother with email

Enigma do have other dealers

If I were looking for titanium, I'd take a weekend trip to Hunstanton and visit Fatbirds...in fact I may well do so at some point

Your location says London and Essex, have you moved to Chester?

Litespeed manufacture all their Ti in Tennessee, just like Lynskey.

I bought a Sabbath September maybe 8 years ago. I was in Macclesfield and popped into their place. They have since moved. The frames then were put together in the Far East, but designed by the Roche brothers themselves. In fact, they designed one to fit me as I was a bit small for their smallest frame. Greg Roche, with whom I spent most time discussing the bike, was great, knows his stuff and was lovely. At one point, he asked me if I wanted to take some time and think about it, before putting the deposit down! As far from a hard sell as I've come across. The frame has done thousands of miles since then. Love it. Rides like a dream, super comfortable. I have, so far, not had a problem with it. Obviously, things may have changed since then. They were a fairly new company back then. But, if the service and build quality is at was, I'd definitely recommend a visit.
