I have 700 x 23m gatorskins on my wheels
As it winter should i put 25m ones on
Or just put a 25m on the rear

I don't think the 2mm of extra width will make any difference to 'road grip', if that was your concern.

Increasing them by that small amount will probably make little difference in terms of grip if that's what you're thinking. Maybe slightly bouncier ride, but even then it's not that likely...

If you're worried about grip in the wet then Gatorskins are probably not the best tyre to fit (in any size).

Go with Conti grand prix seasons and keep with the 23s.
The 25's will offer that little bit more comfort but there's nothing in it grip wise.

I have gone from 38 to 37 for winter, do some off road, its miles comfier and superb off road, might stick with them all year, the increase in resistance is worth the increase in comfort, the additional confidence in the dark about hitting bumps and ability on rough tracks. Also have full MTB wheels for it as well.
