Very cleverly worded. It doesn't promise p******e prevention, but protection. Now so many of us are using marathon+, they're an endangered species, in need of protection, which is where the ultremo's excel........maybe?

They wear out and cut up to quick to let punctures be a problem, mighty fast tyre though so maybe they bend the laws of physics and time warp around road debris?

Why not do a segment of the Prudential London _Surrey Classic route. You can do London or head into leafy Surrey and the noted Box Hill. At least your friend can tell her mates about it back in Oz.

Right, the only way you'll keep them any way resembling clean after a wet ride...is..... spray Mr Sheen on the side walls, it takes out the black brake crap.

Faulty batch of these were floating around about 18 months ago, they crack round sidewalls and cotton type threads just fall of them, after 3 sets doing it I gave up on them!shortly afterwards I see lots heavily discounted everywhere!shame really there fast and light and run really smooth.

Got em on my Cube, in black!, only use them in summer, when you know its not gonna rain at all and make sure their inflated correctly, apart from that enjoy how fast they roll, as another CC has said the "cotton type thread" comes away, but I've had no dramas with them.
If you use them wisely then a puncture will vary between riders, I did a sportive last year and found myself running over all sorts of stuff that could've put a cut in them but nothing and was really expecting one!.
