Tyres, what does 'trans' mean?

I'm looking for some new tyres for the FCR (700 x 25 and as cheap as possible...), and on wiggle they have these:

What does 'trans' mean? I've never seen that before...

It's the sidewall colour, short I think for translucent or something.

Yeah trans in guitar land often refers to colour, so that's what I assumed it was...

Michelin list the Dynamic as either black, or black and beige, so it must mean beige (!)
