I'm looking to replace my Schwalbe Ultremo ZX tyres and was looking for advice on what to replace them with.

I love the Ultremo ZX tyres but they cut up very easily.

Any suggestions 700x23c

I use Continental GP4000S tyres on both my good summer bikes, and swear by them. Others will no doubt have their own opinions based on personal experiences.

Agreed - the GP4000S's have been used on my commute occasionally, plus training runs and a tough sportive. After about 400 miles there's not a mark on them. As a result I'm using them on my Way of the Roses trip this weekend.

Contrast that to the Ultremo ZX's - several cuts after only 60 miles.

They are, with some side tread. They feel sticky, which seems to help grip:

I got mine from Evans, who price-matched Parker International. Tweeks seem to be the cheapest atm at £28.95 each.

Michelin pro race 3 or krylions?

ive not used the pro races but the krylions are brilliant, light fast, puncture proof, and they have lasted about 2000 miles no issues what so ever, few minor cuts but nothing serious and you'd expect this after that sort of millage.

these tyres are all being replaced by pro race 4's range id imagine they would have been improved further, Michelin never fail to disappoint me bike or car!

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Durano (plus)?

Schwalbe badge the Ultremo as a "race tyre", which to me means they're designed for a short, swift life. My Durano (plus) - one of each - survived the downpours and shockingly bad roads of London to Emsworth at night very nicely.
