I just ordered two new tyres from wiggle & they've arrived coiled, held by cable ties & I'm a little concerned they've bent the rim. I've not bought tyres online before so not sure what to expect.

I'll leave them out overnight to see if they uncoil, but does anyone know if this is standard way to post beaded tyres, or have wiggle made a hiccup?
Cheers

They will be fine once you put them on the wheels.

I was amazed how small the box was for 2* 32c Gatorskins from Ribble. They also used a cable tie pulled so tight that the bead was kinked. A bit of manhandling and a couple of days left to reshape and I've not had any issue.

That's why they're called folding tyres...

All perfectly normal.

He said they are beaded tyres in his post.

I bought beaded rubino vittorias from wiggle and they arrived in a big box. Wonder if that will change?

When i've bought from wiggle they sent them uncoiled, in a box. I'm sure they'll be fine once you get the tube in and pump up the pressure.
