Just a update on my tyres,

Been using Continental 29er Race king 2.2 for the last 4 weeks,
been riding in cannock chase, Ridgeway and around woodcote,
In wet horrible mud and in the snow,

There have never let me down, getting plenty of traction out of mud and good drive around the corners,
Pressure around 35psi.

But I will put on a Specialized ground control 2.10 onto the front, just to give me more grip, when I am on the edge!

So would I recommend Continental tyres,
Yes I will

But if any of you out there tried anything else on your 29er,
let's use know.

Just as important as grip on a 29er, what are they like for wedding mud once you're on the move again?

That's not the best, you really have to be moving to fling the mud of the tyres.

just another update,
Done the Woodcote cx sportive yesterday,
The tyres worked really well, no punctures, rolled fast on the road sections, and plenty of grip in the wet mud, cant fault them,
that's Continental on the rear, and Specialized on the front.
av speed 14.8 mph.
35psi.
