Tyres: folding or non-folding?

Please can you give me the pros and cons of the two types?

No cons. Folding are lighter and generally easier to take off and on.

Folding easier to carry as a spare. On account of being able to fold.

I find folding a bit trickier to put on, until all the bead from one side is fitted.

Most of the top end tyres are folding. Most of the lower end tyres are wired. Folding are faster, lighter and more expensive.
