Hi everyone!
I have a Trek FX3 and interested in upgrading the Bontrager H2 tires to something lighter and more grippy on pavement. Any suggestions? Thanks all, and cheers!
Don't know about grippy but as there is so little rubber in contact with the surface that you won't get much difference between hp tyres ( sorry tires ). Fatter tyres will give better grip especially at lower pressures. You don't say what size (width) you're running. Wet grip might be slightly different although you can disregard tread pattern or slick. Also remember that lighter tyres usually have poorer puncture resistance.
Have a read through this, it may be a bit out of date but most I think are still in production. All aspects are tested not just rolling resistance.
