Tyre sizes

Hello. I currently have 700 32c size cross tyres on my bike, the ones that came with it.. I would like to purchase some road tyres. Do I have to get 700 32c or can I buy 700 28 etc. I think I can but just checking.

28mm shouldn't be a problem and you might be able to go lower.

Only way to tell is knowing your rim width in mm

Hello, checked the wheels. they are shimano wh-r500 black. They state they are 622 x 15c. What tyre size will it take?

Well according to the late Sheldon Brown you can safely go down to a 23mm tyre...

Just remember the thinner the tyre the hard you have to keep it pumped up.
