honestly, how often do you ckeck you tyre pressure. They cant deflate that quickly can they?
I usually just check if they look ok when sitting on the bike.

Not too often tbh. On the road bike I only really top them up if I'm going for a fast ride or every 2nd week on the utility bike I only pump them up once a month or so. If I was a heavy rider or suffered from p'tures more often I'd check more often but touch wood I don't ;)

I do a squeeze test before every ride and a pressure check one or twice a week.Air can escape pretty quickly under certain conditions, highly varying temperatures seems to be one such condition.

Depends which bike. Are we talking MTB or road?

My MTB runs about 30psi and as such never seems to need pumping up. At that pressure the air can't really be bothered to try to escape.

My road bike runs at about 110psi and can lose 30psi in a few days. I check it every time I ride (unless on consecutive days). Usually it goes down to about 80 and stabilises there.

What kind of bike, tyres and tubes are we talking about?

On my Specialized Hardrock with schrader valves I don't have to check the pressure all that often. However on my Giant Seek 2 w/Presta valves I have to check them more often. I can actually feel the difference in PSI when I'm riding my Seek 2.

The Hardrock I probably check once a week or so, the Seek 2 I check every other day.
