Tyre pressure (road bikes) ???

On my road bike I have 90-95 psi (as soft as poss for comfort).
During the TdF the main comentator asked what "these riders" would have. I am sure his answer was "thirty eight" . What would that relate to???

That was my thinking.....90 psi equals approx 6 bar. Maybe I misheard but it seemed clear to me.

38psi maybe in the following cars... more like 75-85ish in 28mm?

7 or 8 Bar is fairly typical. 6 Bar a little bit low unless you're lucky enough to be a light weight!

38psi might have been what they had today for the cobbles if they had relatively wide tyres (28-32mm). Tuesday they'll be back to a more typical 90-95psi (or there abouts).
