tyre advice

Still a noob on a road bike so bear with me!

I've just noticed a small cut in my rear tyre right on the tread, not the sidewall, about a centimetre long and about a couple of millimetres deep.

I've got gatorskin road tryes.

Should I change the tyre or will it be okay to keep going on it?

A cut a couple of millimetres deep is deep for a cut on a tyre. Change the tyre.

I really would not worry about it if the tyre is not bulging or the tube is not visible then would not change that unless its causing a problem.
