hello all so i have come to the conclusion that i need a slightly larger frame , i have had a look online and found what appears to be a good one for the value but what's throwing me off is they call it a winter training frame , so what im asking is what make a frame a "winter frame" differ to well a standard frame . please help

kind regards . paul

Possibly have wider clearance for bigger tyres and mudguards .

What he said. And often you'll find a winter trainer has a more horizontal top tube. I have no idea why this is, but that seems to be the trend.

The first frame on your list will need cantilever brakes, apologies if you are aware of that already. Neither frame is supplied with forks so you will have to budget for those too.

My LBS used to sell Kinesis frames and while they looked ok I thought they were overpriced for what they were.
