Two Little Boys

Sorry for the Rolf Harris connotations but I didn't know how to title this. After work as I often do I popped to the new Supermarket and just as I locked the bike up two little boys (only about 7 or 8 at the most) on their BMX's came rolling up they were a bit annoying with their questions (about that cool fast bike, it must be a racer, actually it was my heavy hybrid) but they were so friendly, I couldn't really tell them to go away. I ended up pumping up their tyres and spent about 10 mins answering questions. I eventually got into the shop they wanted to follow me but I told them to stay and watch their bikes  I was in and out in 5 mins or less I was kinding hoping they would have moved on before I got out but they weren't, I spent more time answering questions. One couldn't understand how I never had a car but in a nice way (I told him I leave it in the car park, it only takes me 15mins on the bike if there's traffic jams my car would take me longer, this was complicated enough for them so I didn't go into parking issues;)) Luckily I managed to make an escape and I'm home now.

My journey is usually faster on bike 15mins home, 1min to shop, 5 min shop and home. I'm not sure tonight  its so nice however to come across so open and friendly kids not actually wanting anything other than a chat, I hope they remain that way.

You never know, you may be the inspiration for one of those kids to become a great cyclist

Just goes to show that kids generally aren't as bad as the media makes out!

I was in Spa Cycles a while ago and the neighbourhood kids were in to get their tyres sorted. I thought it was rather nice.
