Maybe because it's EUROsport? And maybe because the host broadcaster has a deal with Sky and have priced the feed too high? The answer probably lies between Euro and commercial. In any case what happens at the TDU has little meaning in the context of a season which really kicks off with the classics in March.
I was only being funny, you can laugh if you want to
It may have little meaning, and yes I do understand the TDU is a warm up, but last year and this year the TDU has given great access for fans to allow us to see how the teams are doing including behind the scenes stuff. For generating interest for this sport it is a great positive , as opposed to all the negative stuff that attracts so much attention every year. Bad news sells as they say !
Anyway I'm not bothered because Cycling TV has loads of coverage so I'm a happy bunny
But yes I agree with you, and am looking forward to the Classics.
