turbo trainer + quick release wheel

Hi all

First post so be gentle, i was reading the tread about turbo trainers as i am thinking of getting one. Do you have to change the rear spindle as i have a quick release, will this just sit on the trainer or does it need to be a nut type,

The trainer will come (at least mine did) with an alternative QR skewer to fit, which matches the turbo.

I use the standard skewer with both of my turbo's. Try and get a turbo with a sprung roller as opposed to a fixed, makes for a smoother ride.
