just a quick question, i am looking at buying a turbo trainer and have managed to borrow 1 from my local cycling club for a week to see if i like it! the question is i have to change my q/r skewer to fit it in the turbo but is there any reason that i cant leave the turbo q/r skewer in for a long time so i dont have keep changing it every time?
thanks matt

It's fine to leave it in permanently and use it when riding on the road. That's what I do.
