turbo issues -gear shifting

When i use my turbo i use another wheel + cassette but the shifting is wa off compared to my normal wheel.Both are r501s .

I do know the cable needs repalcing as the shifting is not crisp on the road anyway but the turbo ratlles into the big cog and i have todouble shift to the smaller sometimes so its not briliant either way on the turbo .

Is the clamping force on the frame affecting it ?

Different wheel is the key. Hubs are not all the same dimensions and the cassette can sit further in or out in relation to the mech.

Strange.

It has nothing to do with clamping the Q/R, however.

For overall quality changing, when did you last check rear mech alignment.

Have the cassettes both got the same amnount of wear on them?

Same cassette but different wear, mech hangers fine as i check alignment when i take the wheel out to clean it .
