Anybody had this problem with a Tubus Duo front rack

I have Dawes Galaxy that I am trying to fit a Duo rack to. The hole with the allen key in is for the mudguards and the one below should be in line with the where the mudguards are fitted now .

Are my forks just an oddity or are the racks made wrong?

This mounting kit should let you make the top bosses higher, so the rack would then fit the bottom bosses.

However, it says suitable for all Tubus racks except yours.

Can't think why that should be.

OK sorted.

Just need to use brute strength to bend the tubes up to fit.

Took two of us. I was a bit afraid of damaging the tubes at first but although it is under stress it is fine.

The rack should use the front holes on the fork, it may fit better on those.

EDIT I mean the bottom fitting should be in the fork fitting in front of the axle.

The rack is mounted as per the instructions.

The problem was the same trying to use the front holes.

Where it is gives more room to fasten the quick release.

It on so bring on Holland ^_^
