Tubs

Am currently going around in circles regarding getting some nice wheels for the Helium and have been considering going tubeless;had sort of narrowed it down to either some hand-built Pacenti rims with Miche hubs(was looking at He'd Belgiums but the cost is quite high) or Hunt aero wides in either 31 or 28 depths.

However have got to thinking about going the tubular route as some hand built with Gigantex carbon rims could be had at a fairly reasonable price.

Bottom line is are there any peeps on here who use tubs on a regular basis and not just for TT's or racing?
How reliable are they and can they be as easy to use as clinchers as many people seem so say?

ta in advance for any replies.

I use mine all summer for training rides and racing . I only swap to clinchers in the winter because i don't want to put the extra wear on the tyres .

Both really, I guess. Great for race days and they 'feel' great at 100psi on a smooth tarmac circuit, but the actual benefits are harder to define...
