tubes for mavic aksium wheels?

I've got aksium wheels and prefer latex inner tubes which only seem to come in long valve lengths and look daft on the aksiums, short valves are, I think, too short, specialised and giant seem to do a medium length valve inner tube but its not latex.

Does anyone know if med length valve latex tubes are available or if short can be found and will actually work?
