Hi

I hope someone can help as I seem to be having no joy.

Having View attachment 81972 found a cheap replacement frame I am desperate to get it built for when the weather gets better, but I am being delayed as I can't find a seat clamp to fit exactly how I would I like it to.

The seat clamp is a 34.9mm clamp size, but the height of clamp need to be at least 17mm to fill the indents in the frame (please see the image attached).

There must be one out there as the bike would of had one originally. Thanks everyone

Loch side.
Trim the frame, using a small pipe cutter. I'm sure that is not your first choice but I don't think you'll find such a clamp, even though I've seen them on a bike once or twice. They are triple bolt models - three 4mm bolts do the clamping.

Yeah I was thinking of cutting it down as my very very last resort (likely to muck it up, as well as it being a carbon frame clamping onto a carbon post I ideally wanted to keep the clamping area as big as poss.

But that's excatly what I'm after what you have described. Driving me mad as I know they are out there.
