Hi and HNY !
Any way , this time last year I was all to happy with my fitness levels rising through cycling , esp my legs , but a year on a whole different story , looks like work related RS Injury has seen some serious problems with my left leg devlop , without going into it all , I have a TRX training set , Im thinking of fitting a hoop in the ceiling and using it on a daily basis to improve leg and other all round fitness ,
Does anyone else use the TRX on a regular basis ? Ive watched videos etc , seems like a simple and effective way to train ,

Yes. I've used one on and off for years. It goes back to the mid 2000s when I was generally in a bad way after a major op and being immobilised and other problems. About the same time my wife was seriously ill, and the pair of us started to see a personal trainer who helped us on the road to recovery. (and we still see her - paying for these sessions would be the last luxury to go if I was making cuts). We use TRX a lot.

That's all I have to say. It looks like a gimmick, and for the materials it's almost certainly overpriced, but it really is great. Nearly all the exercises have some degree of core stability in them. Like a lot of things, 99% of the usefulness is down to you being disciplined and committed.

I hadn't heard of it so I just did a quick search.

There was a suggestion that it is very good for maintaining strength and fitness but potentially risky for those currently with poor core strength due to instability of the equipment. (I assume that the risk is that you pull something when struggling to maintain your position.)
