Have been working with one of these, although mine is not an original product but a knock off, much much cheaper, and am really seeing the difference in core strength and performance on the bike.

https://www.trxtraining.com/ Link to the trx site but a simple search on you tube brings up a host of "experts" showing you how. A bit of a pick and mix and you are sorted.

The best thing since sliced bread and I do not eat sliced bread :-) for improving your fitness off the bike.??

I've used one on and off for a quite few years. I was a bit doubtful as I thought it a bit gimmicky at first but no, I really rate it.

Of course, as a piece of kit it's a bit overpriced for some webbing and stuff, but the concept is great.

Although someone will probably be along in a minute and tell you that for specifically cycling targeted fitness nothing beats actual cycling. And they may well be right, but there's more to life than just cycling.

Well if you believe the blurb, some top teams are using the system and other teams spend time with the riders developing core and other muscle groups that directly or indirectly help to improve overall fitness and reduce injury issues on the bike. We shall see how the year unfolds, but for now I'm all in favour of incorporating a couple of sessions per week into my training schedule.

Ive read about these ,Im sure Chris Froome uses this system on a weekly basis ,also another rider , but cant remember his mame . I mentioned it to Ms ozboz , she just happens to have a set of the staps at hand ! so will be having a go on them, apparently xlnt for core work , as a fitness trainer she is a big advocate of core strength being pivotal to the holistic approach of human movement and control,
