Looking for advice- I bought some Trp spyres for my new build.

On the rear brake when I take the slack out of the cable, tighten down the bolt as soon as I pull on the lever the cable slips and the lever hits the bars. I've tried it a few times and has been set up the same as the front which has no issues.

Anyone else had the same issue or suggestions?

If you tighten down the bolt and then pull on the wire, not using the brake lever, (ie by hand/pliers direct on wire) does the cable pull out of its anchor then? If so your anchoring point is failing in some way (routed correct?) or you're not tightening the bolt down hard enough (take care not to overtorque though) or the brake itself is resisting in some way (I assume you can make it squeeze by using fingers directly on the brake).
