Trouble finding gloves

Hi

I'm suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome again. I've got nice big gel-filled handlebar grips, but need the right gloves too. Can anyone recommmend a source of the older type of gel glove? I need the ones with the broad gel strips across the palm, not the more modern, over-engineered and under-effective type with strategically-located gel spots.

hmmm, I've noticed that gel padded gloves are not as plentiful as they used to be, guessing the suspension fork means they are not so necessary, a bummer if you have rigid forks like on my commuter.

anyways, I found specialized gel mitts were very comfy but they fell apart after much use ; the closest I could find were the Altura brand, Airstream gloves. Not as much padding but better than no padding.
