Triban 3 or Carrera td

Thinking of buying my first road bike and these 2 look ok for the price. I dont want to go second hand because I just dont have the know how to see whats a good or bad buy.

decathlon are gen better than halfords as well for cust service ,its a far better bike i think

Decathalon for good service, the T3 has a great spec for £300

I have had the Triban 3 for approx 3 months and loving it so far! Not sure about the other bike but the Triban is hard to beat for the money.

1500+ miles on my Triban 3 since christmas. Upgraded the wheels at 1200miles but amazing value for a first bike either way.
