I am considering training for a sprint distance triathlon, which I may or may not compete in subject to my own fitness.
Today I did a lap of the route used in the cycle stage. In the event it will be a 2 lap 10k circuit on some really flat roads (Although the state of the roads leave a lot to be desired). I managed 1 lap in roughly 30mins, which would give me a time of 1 hr for the cycling stage. Just wondering what would be a good time to try and aim for?
The one thing I need to do is get a lot of training in over the winter to get to a level of fitness required for the event, which is at the end of May.
