Triathlon + Magazine : anyone take up the 3 issues for £1 offer?

Had someone from Future Publishing phone me up and ask me if I wanted to take up a special offer on Triathlon Plus mag ( I subscribe to Cycling Plus already ). It was the first three issues for £1 if I recall correctly and I was told I could cancel at any time within that first 3 month period without any penalty or need to pay full whack for subsequent issues.

Well, 2nd issue has arrived and I am now wanting to cancel so I don't have to pay for the rest of the year. I only took up the offer as I was curious and the woman made it sound like a pretty good deal!!!. LOL.

She said to cancel all I had to do was drop them an email with my details and it would be done with no hassles.

However I'm wondering if anyone else here signed up to this offer and subsequently cancelled and if so - how did you cancel?. Via email?.

Because I've been online and logged into my account for the subscription and I see no mention of contacting them via email to cancel. It says they need cancellations put in writing and sent to Future Publishing.

Just wondered if anyone else here has done this. I am a bit wary of just emailing them in case the email doesn't reach them and I get tied into a subscription I don't really want.

Yes i done it had the second issue yesterday works out around 33p each,their a good mag as well

I agree, it's a good mag but I'm not a triathlete, just a roadie so a lot of the mag is irrelevant to my interests.

Same as me im just a roadie but there are some helpful stuff in the mag i was surprised,once you recieve the third issue then you cancel it ,thats what the person told me too do
