My first proper dark ride with this dynamo light last night, rain and fog on my ride thrown of for good measure and it is superb.
I treated myself to this from Rose bikes (~£35) to upgrade my very good B&M IQ fly 30 on my winter workhorse bike and it is money very well spent.
I was.riding on wet leaves in an unlit tree shrouded country park at gone 9pm last night with fog in the air at not far off my daylight pace and its illumination up the road and beam angle across paths and roads is absolutely spot on for safe, confident riding and picking out pot holes as well as seeing the sides of the path/road and onto the verges.
There is no lag in the light coming up to full brightness and the stand light lasts for a good 5+ minutes of inactivity.
Fitting it was a matter of moments and simplicity itself.
It is a well thought out well built light from people that are in a bike friendly culture and that shines through (pun) the whole unit.
Highly recommended to those with or considering a dynamo set up.
